Sotira Trifourki

Founder and CEO

Sotira is Founder and CEO of Artemis Space. She leads the overall business operations and company strategy. Sotira is an innovation facilitator with expertise in convening systems of stakeholders around complex networks, building connections between companies, researchers,  government agencies and NGOs throughout Europe, the Middle East, and U.K. She started her career as a research scientist and has spent 15 years supporting businesses, social enterprises and entrepreneurs with business development and new market strategies. Sotira received her BSc. in Astrophysics from The University of Manchester.



Glen Cornhill

Chief Technology Officer

As CTO, Glen leads spacecraft and robotics design, advanced manufacturing, mission operations and platform development for Artemis Space.  Glen also leads the Artemis Space education and outreach programmes, along with our challenges and Hackathons. He has extensive experience in developing technology education resources and teaching, reaching hundreds of young people through a number of STEM initiatives. Glen received his BSc in Physics with Space Science from the University of Leicester and is currently studying towards a MSc in Space Science and Technology from the Open University.



Jayakumar Venkatesan

Partner, CEO, Valles Marineris

Jayakumar is CEO of Valles Marineris, a Space Technology company based in Chennai, India. Valles Marineris is pioneering work with Artemis Space on expandable space station modules, Lunar, and Mars Mission Architect modules. Valles Marineris is designing fully reusable aerospace vehicle and Hyrbid rocket technologies to deliver payloads to orbit through low-cost vehicles. The company intends to become a reliable, low-cost provider of launch services destined for Low Earth Orbit (LEO), as well as for cargo resupply and recovery flights to and from the International Space Station. Together with Artemis Space, Valles Marineris is working on CubeSats and NanoSats as a platform for future Earth, Lunar and Planetary Missions and Constellations.
